Symphony South Healthcare delivers NHS general practice services to patients across South Somerset under a General Medical Service contract to approximately 36,300 patients.
The practice is situated across seven locations in South Somerset, with two sites in Crewkerne and further sites in the towns and villages of Somerton, Ilchester, Stoke-sub-Hamdon, Martock and South Petherton. Symphony South Healthcare is part of Symphony Healthcare Services and was formed in July 2026, having previously been four separate practices, Buttercross Health Centre & Ilchester Surgery; Crewkerne Health Centre; Hamdon Medical Centre and Martock & South Petherton Surgery.
The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission to deliver the following regulated activities: Diagnostic and screening procedures; Family planning; Maternity and midwifery services; Surgical procedures and Treatment of disease, disorder or injury.
The combined practice offers a wide range of healthcare services, provided by a multidisciplinary team including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs).
